How will man deal with the next mini ice age in less than a 100 years?

Climate change is a much, much bigger issue than the public, politicians, and even the most alarmed environmentalists realize. Global warming extends to Mars, where the polar ice cap is shrinking, where deep gullies in the landscape are now laid bare, and where the climate is the warmest it has been in decades or centuries.





';One explanation could be that Mars is just coming out of an ice age,'; NASA scientist William Feldman speculated after the agency's Mars Odyssey completed its first Martian year of data collection. ';In some low-latitude areas, the ice has already dissipated.'; With each passing year more and more evidence arises of the dramatic changes occurring on the only planet on the solar system, apart from Earth, to give up its climate secrets.How will man deal with the next mini ice age in less than a 100 years?
I think we'll do OK with the mini ice age, but it'll be a ***** to ride a motorcycle in. Perhaps this warming trend is mother nature's way of telling us to make a little hay while the sun shines. We should be drilling Siberian and Alaskan oil reserves before advancing glaciers make drilling an maintaining pipelines all but impossible.

by doing what weve done for the past 10,000 years we use the big brains we have and we live through it. if stupid animals like the mammoth could evolve and live ithink that we being sentient creatures can do it too

The melting of the polar cap on Mars, which is made of CO2, is Regional and nothing like the global warming here on Earth. It is the one currently facing the Sun that is melting, the other is increasing in size. This is perfectly normal.
I do think they will look back with wonder at the current paranoia and fear of warming. Cooling is a far graver threat but we will endure.
Heaters at Walmart would be flying off the shelf!

earth's citizens should be under an artificial dome.


Heat from underground should keep the domes


warm. Cool air from other regions underground


should keep the domes cool if needed.
There is some excellent work in this article to show that if it weren't for human-caused warming, we would already be well along towards the next glaciation. After the fossil fuels are all used up (this century) we will probably rapidly head towards the next ice age . The human caused goofiness in the meantime is regrettable, because a lot of species will go extinct and a lot of humans will suffer in the short term that wouldn't have had to. The planet's slide towards glaciation (a natural, slower-term phenomenon) would allow (normally) all of us to adapt better.
